ecently, a woman was bitten by a snake while walking in the Zhejiang city of Jinhua. But, instead of running away in terror, she calmly snatched the serpent and made her way to the hospital for treatment.
The 23-year-old woman later told doctors that she was strolling along the sidewalk when she accidentally dropped her phone near a bush. When she reached down to pick it up, a snake slithered out and bit her index finger. The woman responded by quickly catching the snake with her bare hands and then heading to the hospital.
A doctor, surnamed Wang, told The Paper that the injury was not severe and there was only minor bleeding with no swelling. After an hour, the woman was promptly discharged from the hospital.
Though she was there only briefly, the woman did manage to leave a strong impression. “From filling out the forms to getting a shot, she held onto the snake tightly the entire time,” the doctor remarked.
The woman told doctors that after leaving the hospital she would set the animal free.
