Demonstrating that not even a blackout will stop a Chinese parent from making their kid do their homework, back on Sunday evening, a father and daughter arrived at a Wuhan subway station with a backpack full of books and papers.
Because of a power outage at home, they had come seeking light. In surveillance footage, the two are seen sitting down on the floor beside the station exit and getting to work at around 9:16 pm.
After learning about the situation, the stationmaster was touched. He invited them inside his office and provided them with a table, chairs, and two cups of hot tea.
The girl finished her homework at around 11 pm, her father staying with her the entire time.
