The Pudong landmark will reopen Thursday after being closed down for more than a month because of the Covid-19 virus outbreak.
For the time being, visitor numbers will be kept under half of capacity.
To visit the Oriental Pearl Tower, you should buy tickets ahead of time online or through ticketing machines. You’ll need to register your personal information, purchase with real names, and present your health QR code upon entry.
Your temperature will also be checked at the door. If you’re running a fever, you won’t be allowed inside.
The reopening comes as Shanghai’s tourism industry is slowly shifting back into gear. The Shanghai Disney Resort has also opened back up some of its shops and restaurants.
Shanghai has reported very few new coronavirus cases in recent weeks apart from those arriving at the airport from Italy.
