During the last couple of months, we all went through a wild emotional rollercoaster. Hopefully by now the waves of “I am going to lose my job” and “I am never getting back home” have subsided and we can readjust our focus.
Ideally, on something useful and still online. Don’t ruffle any feathers.
Shanghai-based China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) MBA program is organizing a workshop that will help untangle the twisted maze of the Chinese job market for foreigners.
Financial Times global MBA ranking put CEIBS MBA program at the reputable 5th position for two years in a row.
Workshop: Career Transition Strategies
Whether it is new graduates trying to remain in the country after the end of their studies or curious minds looking to experience China from inside, the task of looking for employment can bring frustration and disappointment. And plenty of teaching offers.
To get inspired and learn some practical tips on how to get the job that agrees with your set of skills and career aspirations in China, join the CEIBS online workshop led by a panel of working professionals and school alumni.
The workshop will be led by Alex Yuen, who is a Senior Career Development Consultant at CEIBS. He will be joined by two MBA alumni who went on to work at Google and Ant Financial (Alibaba Group).
They will share their career journey and will reveal some insights about useful but underexploited platforms and ways of landing your dream job without being fluent in Mandarin (which is almost always “a work in progress”).
The workshop is tailored to working professionals with a genuine interest in China’s business environment.
CEIBS was established by the Chinese government and the European Union in 1994. It has China’s largest and most prestigious business school alumni network with over 24,000 alumni all over the world. It gives alumni a unique China understanding with a global perspective that helps them stand out amongst other candidates.
CEIBS MBA English program is a full-time 18-month course that has been ranked No 5 globally and No 1 in Asia. It stands as the No 1 course for the salary increase, with the average salary growth of 187% within 3 years of graduation.
