ast November, a Shenyang uncle surnamed Tao bought a small “dog” at a market near his home, only to later discover that his new pet was no dog.
At the market, Tao was instantly drawn to the animal, which he believed to be a Pomeranian. The seller initially asked for 1,000 yuan, but Tao was able to bargain him down to just 300 yuan, happily taking his new pet home.
However, Tao quickly started to notice some rather strange things about his “puppy,” like the fact that it wouldn’t bark. As the animal grew, he was forced to come to the realization that it was actually a raccoon.
Since his residential community does not consider a raccoon to be a pet, Tao was forced to give the animal up to the forestry service, who released it into the wild.
Hey, at least he didn’t buy a bear.
