ast Friday, an enraged driver got out of his car after he was forced to dodge a group of tourists posing for a photo in the middle of an expressway outside the city of Dunhuang in Gansu province.
Video posted online by CCTV shows the group of tourists squatting down on the highway, seemingly unconcerned by the sounds of the driver’s car horn until his vehicle is seconds away from slamming into them. After the driver swerves and the tourists scramble back to the safety of the side of the road, the driver is seen getting out of his car and angrily chasing after them with a steel pipe in hand.
He then started to lash out at the man who was taking the photos, shouting, “Are you human?” After taking a couple of punches, the man seemed to have learned his lesson, telling the driver, “I will be more careful in the future.”
As the driver got back in his car, he yelled one final warning at the group. “You didn’t even budge when I honked the horn on the expressway. This could have been the last picture of your lives.”
On Weibo, many netizens praised the driver for teaching the tourists a much-needed lesson. “There’s nothing wrong with the driver’s attitude. This is how you should educate someone in situations like these,” one user commented. “The driver was too much. Why did he hit the brakes?” wrote another.
