Rave at one of the world’s top 10 indoor parties in Shanghai as Transmission Festival comes to the city for the first time on August 18. Happening on Saturday at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), the inaugural Transmission China brings a host of leading trance producers from around the globe in a spectacle of laser light shows and a booming sound system. The line up for this year includes Aly & Fila, Andy Moor, BT, Driftmoon, Orjan Nilsen, Purple Haze by Sander van Doorn, Simon Patterson, and more. Combined with the light shows by Vision Impossible and Funktion-one sound system, partiers will be taken an inspired and exciting journey throughout the whole night.

Escolonia de El Escorial is a choir of around 50 children who reside and receive academic and musical training in the Royal Monestary of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The Escolanos receive a very extensive musical training. In addition to voice and singing techniques, they study musical language, instruments, and the history of music. The chorale ensemble is assisted by the professors of the Conservatory: P. Antonio Soler and the Augustinian community.

Alfredo Zinola and Felipe González present PRIMO, an unusual performance of underwater contemporary dance, set in a large pool on stage. Sitting in front of the numerous windows, the small audience discovers the underwater scenes and observes actions that become miraculously touching. You can see feet, arms, hands, and legs appear and walk among strange creatures, you see two people who find each other in a game that is playful, affectionate, and powerful.
