One of the more affordable French restaurants in Shanghai is about to get even more wallet-friendly next week with a discount for its food.
From October 21 to 30, Chez Jojo is offering 30 percent off all dishes to celebrate its grand opening.
The restaurant is modeled after a guinguette, a French take on a tavern where people come for casual food and drink. Dishes have a homey, rustic feel vibe, like their homemade foie gras with fig chutney (¥128 for 100 grams, ¥89.60 after 30 percent off), steak tartare (usual ¥128 for 200 grams, ¥89.60 after 30 percent off), and cote de boeuf (usual ¥288 for 500 grams, ¥201.60 after 30 percent off).
Chez Jojo also has a wealth of offers after the grand opening promotion ends. They have a happy hour from 3pm to 8pm everyday except Monday, 30 percent off all food on Tuesday, and a set called Jojo’s favorite menu on Wednesday where you can get either two or three courses for ¥198.
On the weekends, Chez Jojo does a brunch from 11am to 5pm where you can get dishes such as foie gras Benedict, omelettes, and Jojo’s breakfast burger. If you come on Saturday, there will be a French teacher at the restaurant to look after with your little ones while you eat. Scan the QR code below to book your seat at Chez Jojo today.
