ny restaurant in Shanghai that opens past two years is an achievement – that’s how long many rental contracts are – and for Nepali Kitchen to stay open for the past 18 years is a monumental feat. To celebrate, the Nepalese restaurant is offering a second order of any of their curry dishes or their cheese balls appetizer for only ¥18.
Opened by Kanccha Ghale in March 2001, Nepali Kitchen was, and still is, the only restaurant in Shanghai serving food from Ghale’s home country. They operated on Xinle Road for four years before moving to their current location in a lane house on Julu Road and have flourished till this day by adhering as closely as possible to authentic flavors.
To mark this milestone, Nepali Kitchen is offering any second order of one of their curries or the cheese balls for ¥18. The promotion is valid from March 20 to March 31 and is limited to one order per table.
