zoo in Yunnan province is currently searching for a mysterious visitor who evidently attempted to feed the giraffes with a giant pile of banknotes.
On Tuesday morning, workers at the Yunnan Wildlife Park discovered cash scattered around the ground of the giraffe enclosure. After collecting the money, they tallied up the total to be more than 10,000 yuan ($1,500).
Surveillance cameras failed to catch sight of the cash-dropper and no one has yet come to the zoo asking for their money back. In the media, the individual has been referred to as a “tuhao” (土豪), someone with lots of money but lacking in refinement.
The zoo has urged vistors not to litter or try to feed “strange things” to the animals.
