he bad news in China is that kids keep falling from high places. The good news is that they continue to survive with surprisingly minor injuries.
In the latest case, a 2-year-old child left home alone at a high-rise residential community in Wuhan fell from a 10th-floor window on Friday. Fortunately, the kid’s descent was slowed by clotheslines and branches of trees.
The toddler landed on the lawn but suffered only slight, superficial injuries. Afterward, residents and a community guard rushed over to help.
Earlier this month, a 6-year-old girl in Chongqing showed off even more impressive resiliency, walking off a fall from the 26-floor of her apartment building.
