f you’ve never been to Shanghai’s venerable Postal Museum, Glass Museum, or Typewriter Museum, well set your calendars because this Saturday marks International Museum Day.
Over the weekend, a total of 126 museums in Shanghai will be open to the public for free. Many will also stay open later into the evening and offer some special events.
Meanwhile, five other museums — the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, the Shanghai Natural History Museum, the Shanghai Guanfu Museum, the Shanghai Film Museum, and the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum — will be offering half-price entry.
You can see a full list (in Chinese) of all the free/discounted museums, dates, and opening times here.
